Course Description

This 8 hour course teaches the participants the most efficient method of properly aligning and tensioning belts and chain drives as well as several methods of dial indicator alignment of couplings and shafts. The participant will get “hands-on” instruction in the proper use of alignment and tensioning equipment for belt drive systems. Chain drive alignment and proper tensioning methods will be taught in a “Hands-on” format to all participants. Dial Indicator Shaft Alignment also will be taught using Reverse Dial Alignment, Rim and Face Dial Alignment, Face to Face Dial Alignment. The participant will get “Hands-on” instruction performing Precision Alignment of shafts with or with out couplings in place.
